Appreciative inquiry learning sharing program

Ilam is the leading district in cash crops. Its main productions are tea, potato, cardamom, milk, akabare ginger and broom. There is village development committee called Soyang, which is overcoming in the field of milk based productions in Ilam. Where Imagine Soyang had formed last year. Sungava Development Organisation, Local Development Fund and Soyang VDC is running social mobilization program in the area.

A 3 days "Appreciative inquiry learning sharing program" had conducted by umbrella group Soyang for 34 participants from 26 community based Organisation representatives, local teachers and local political leaders. The program had conducted from August 2-4, 2007. All session had done through success story telling and analyzing. All the participants tried to choose the best practice in their VDC. The program had facilitated by Imagine Ilam secretary Kishor Rijal, member Srijana Chapagain, Imagine Soyang secretary Rabin Rai and Social mobiliser Krishna Kumari Baniya.

In the end of program, all participants had convinced in positive thought based development approach. They also realized that the program should be done for all community and political leaders.
